So this tutorial is me showing you how to achieve a chalk-like texture on your hand lettering in a couple of easy to follow steps. This, just like the gold foil texture tutorial, was figured out by myself purely by experimenting with different blend modes, gradients etc etc. As I said in the other tutorial, there may be other or better ways to achieve this sort of look, but this is just a way that I found out and I wanted to share this with you guys! If there are any other sort of textures you would like to see, just let me know in the comments below and I will continue to experiment and see if I can achieve anything new to show you guys! It is important to experiment in these programs because there are just endless possibilities, so experimenting allows you to really dig deep into what is possible and sometimes you will get lucky and end up with some awesome results, so make sure you yourself have a play around with some settings and see what you can make. The blend modes are a very powerful feature when it comes to creating cool effects, so keep that in mind!
